Confirm Appointments To Jersey Commission TRENTON, N. J., June 24.— The State Legislature today confirmed Governor Charles Edisons appointments of William Hildebrand and William Dolan, a former state senator, to the New Jersey State Racing Commission, thereby assuring official regulation of the Garden State Park meeting, which opens July 7. For a time the legality of racing in New Jersey, which has Garden State as its only track, had been questioned with only a two-man board to oversee it. The addition of Hildebrand and Dolan assures the commission of a quorum.
