j Fog Covers New York Tracks I JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., April 25.— A heavy fog enveloped the three Long Island tracks during the morning hours and disrupted the training schedule. Work watchers re-i ported that the fog was of pea soup consistency and it was impossible to distinguish horses at a distance of more than 50 feet. However, at Belmont Park, Lucky Draw, Shut Out and other notables were on the track during the training hours but it was impossible to time their training efforts. Clockers reported that it was the first time in many years that at some time during the morning the fog did not lift sufficiently to catch a work or two. The fog began to dissipate around eleven oclock at which hour the racing strips were in charge ef the track crews.
