Del Mar Posts to Tunney TunneyLOS LOS ANGELES Calif June 3 Willard F Bill Tunney was named director and elevated to the position of vicepresident and general manager to succeed the late William Quigley at a meeting of the board of directors of the Del Mar race track held here yesterday Johnny Burke who writes the lyrics for many of Bing Crosbys song hits was also added to the board The membership of this body now numbers seven Pat OBrien resigned as treasurer and Fred Poggi manager of Del Mar war production activities was named to replace him OBrien will remain a member of the board
