Meadows Allocates War Relief Funds to Three Institutions InstitutionsSAN SAN MATEO Calif June 3 General manager William P Kyne announced yes ¬ terday that the California Jockey Club has sent a check for 50000 to the Letter inan General Hospital The money from the Bay Meadows War Relief Fund will be used for welfare and recreation activ ¬ ities itiesAt At the same time Kyne sent to the American Legion Department of Califor ¬ nia a check for 22500 for the Legions Veterans Home and Farm Project ProjectThursday Thursday the California Jockey Club allocated 3134559 to the Veterans Re ¬ habilitation Fund This is the fund Kyne is placing in trust to be used for veterans welfare after the war and which he hopes will swell to the proportions necessary to build a home in San Mateo County where 200 veterans of World War II may be as ¬ sured of a bed and meals while waitinf for jobs
