Santa Anita Draws 35#000 ARCADIA. Calif., June 2.— A crowd estimated at 35.000. was here for the running of the third Saturday program at Santa ! Anita, and were favored by summerlike weather and a fast track. Most interest was in the second appearance of the star ! filly, Busher. who was slated to meet or- ! dinary opposition in the Santa Susana Stakes and the return clash between Jury Box and Ariel Lad, who staged a sensational nose finish one week ago. Busher was a prohibitive favorite to win the Santa Susana. while Jury Box was the choice in the other event.
