SlPER FOOT came gamelv when roused for the drive and disposed ot SNARI.EYOW in the last sixteenth mile. The latter reached the lead when settled in the stretch but could not withstand the winner. DUE SPORT came between horses for the drive and finished tast under nrgine. SORGHO assumed -command curly, made the pace to the stretch under pressure from SlPER FOOT, but bad nothing left for the drive. PERSIFLAGE could not threaten FLAMING HIGH was outrun. FLIGHT GAL was prominent throughout and had no mishap in her good effort. EVER ON made the pace to the stretch, then failed to stay for the drive. SINGULAR passed tired horses in the stretch. COUNT BILL went evenly and had no excuse. HANDSOME BOY was outrun. STAR BATTER had early speed. JAYLCEE began fast but did not like the going and failed to keep up. HERES HOW worked her way-forward on the outside, responded to strong handling when taken to the middle of the track for the diive and wore down BLUE GYP in the closing strides. BLUE GYP went to the front early, held on willingly while saving ground but was not good enough lor the winner. JOAN ELISE was racing prominently in the stretch when she was blocked and had to be taken out to find racing room, then failed to recover. * WOOD-MERE tired after displaying early speed. FAIRLY FLY made the pace to the final furlong, then tired. AIR BRIGADE, badly handled, could not get to the leaders when set down for the drive. FIRE KABO forced the pace until inside the stretch, then gave way. OVER ICE saved ground throughout, but did not like the sloppy track. MOKUP broke shigfti* lv. BRANDON POINT had earlv speed. HAMMER-LOCK took command early, made the pace to the stretch and permitted to go to the inside during the drive, bothered NOWADAYS, but could ont hold the winner. NOWADAYS moved up stoutly on the inside entering the stretch and. impeded by HAMMER-LOCK, was taken to th« outside to find racing room, but could not get to the leaders. FOX RIME never was dangerous. TAMLIN went to the front at once, gave way momentarily in the stretch to FLIGHT OVER, but came again when hard ridden and wor« down the latter in the closing strides. FLIGHT OVER reached the leaed when settled for the drive and continued gamely, but was not good enough for the winner, just missing. TOTAL ECLIPSE field on well in a good effort and had no mishap. FLOURTOWN went to the front at once, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating and, responding to punishment during the drive, lasted to withstand PROMENADER despite drifting "out badly. PROMENADER, in hand to the final quarter, came gamely whene roused for the stretch run and was getting to the winner. PRECIOlS YEARS, outrun early, closed strongly. PILATES MISS, forwardly placed throughout, bore out entering the stret h and tired near the finish. FOGOSO could not better his position when set down for the drive. BROKE was outrun. VERIS showed nothing. Scratched— 75216 Shaheen, 117. Attendance, 13,076; Total Mutuel Pool, 36,542. Returned to Public, 52,888, Less Breakage.
