Plan Nov. 22 Inaugural At Fair Grounds Track NEW ORLEANS, La., June 19.— All officers of the Fair Grounds Corporation were reelected at a meeting held in the clubhouse of the local course last evening, and it was definitely announced afterward that Thanksgiving Day, November 22, has been agreed on as the date for inaugurating the 1945-46 season of 75 days. John S. Letellier, who has served as president of the corporation during the last two years, was unanimously chosen for a third term, as were the directors, consisting of George Dawson, Edward F. Creek-more, F. Wilfred Gaudin, Anthony Pelleteri, C. Payne Fenner, Jr., Richard G. Jones, Al G. Reynolds and John F. Reilly. Application for racing dates, totaling the maximum of 75 days, will be filed with the Louisiana State Racing Commission before the deadline of August 15, it was announced by president Letellier.
