Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Washington Park Homewood HI May 22 22R R E Potts trainer for Charles Bohn and Peter Markeys Bomar Stable announced here this week the crack threeyearold colt Plet is to be pointed for the 25000 Peabody Memorial Handicap which will have its decision on May 31 The modest stable that has been cam ¬ paigning under the name of Mr and Mrs Dave Feldman is now operating as the Blossom Stable it was announced here Included in the barn is the good filly Mark ight and frequent winner Potomac PotomacJockey Jockey William Parnell a product of the West Coast will ride here as a free lance Parnell was one of the leading rid ¬ ers in the west as an apprentice last year while connected with the Millerick Stable Trainer A R Williams upon his arrival from California recently assumed the con ¬ ditioning duties of the modest stable owned by B Endovina The unit consists of the racers In the Bag Roy Jay Hand Torch Far Pomp and Cacamo Trainer C Nelson departed for Detroit where he will join the Valley View Farm horses which have already been shipped to the Fair Grounds Ten thoroughbreds were in the shipment headed by Mannequin and Super Wolf WolfKenneth Kenneth Norman Robinson made his saddle debut Friday afternoon astride the charges of his contract owner John D Mikel in the second and third races Twirl Girl and Lady Hostess respectively Rob ¬ inson is a 22yearold native of Lexington Ky and has been connected with the turf for three years Jockey Andrew Burdy returned from a short sojourn to Cranwood Park race track in Ohio and announced that he would re ¬ main here to ride as a free lance through the remainder of this meeting meetingMr Mr and Mrs James F Hines owners of the Great Lakes Stable which is trained by the veteran Phil Reuter are presently enjoying the sport here but will return shortly to their home in Cleveland Ohio
