Official Program Numbers of Placed Horses HorsesOfficial Official program nambers have been added to Daily Racing Form charts These official program numbers immediately precede each horses name in that portion of the chart which contains the mutuel prices and equivaleat odds to 1 of the horses involved in the official payoff In most instances the official program numbers are similar to the post position numbers Im some cases they are completely different being affected by late scratches sta ¬ ble couplings and mutnel fields At all times the official program number will conform with those assigned each horse in the official track program
