MATABON IS KNOCKED TO HIS KNEES. Jockey A. Martin Is Suspended for Ten Days for Rough Riding at Windsor. Detroit, Mich., June 27. The feature at Windsor today was the third race at a mile for three-year-olds and over. Thomond, which broke on the outside cut across to the inside and knocki Matabon to ids knees, for which jockey A. Marti drew a ten days suspension. Only two favorites, BesWe and King of the Val ley, won. The other winners were well supported with the exception of Carase in the first. William Shields arrived from New York today, j Apprentice jockey Lawsou is here from Buffalo and will ride the Boasberg horses. Merry Blue and Humorist were put on the schooling list for bad behavior at the liost iu their races yesterday.
