CASE OF UNAUTHORIZED MARKERS. New York, July 8. The Metropolitan Turf Association is holding a meeting tonight to decide; as to what action will be taken to collect 7,000 worth of unsatisfied and supposedly unauthorized markers bet July 4 by "Kid" Dreyfus for the account of Dr. C. F. McDonald, the noted alienist who testified in the recent Thaw trial. Dr. McDonald was at Sheopshead Hay today in consultation with several of the layers. He said that he had not authorized the wagers and asked for time to sift the matter thoroughly before coming to any decision. He Intimated that he would probably settle as be had neglected to notify the layers of his departure.
