Bellmenee. away forwardly, forced the pace and. running to his best form, wore down No Quarter in the last furlong and won going away. No Quarter closed a big gap gradually from a poor beginning and took the lead in the stretch, but tired in the final strides from his early effort. Hardshot, going wide most of the way. ran a good race. Wedgwood, poorly ridden, came from a long way back and finished with a rush. Careless quit badly in the last quarter and can do much lietter. Hughes showed a brief Hash of early speed. Little George tired after going a quarter and disliked the going. The winner was entered for 01; no bid. Scratched Radivoni, 105. Beth Goodwin, away fast, showing the .most speed and favored by the going, increased Iter advantage with every stride, winning eased to a canter. Pinkie Prim, running green aifd away slowly, came with a good burst of speed, despite going wide, and look second place in the final stride. Merrigo, suffering from interference, ran fairly well. Hazel M. tired after going three furlongs. Ogbent had a rough trip and was sharply inqieded. Pleasant Aiew Belle was pulled up when cut off while going well in the last furlong. I.n Aelta, favored at the start, followed Convolo closely to the stretch turn, where she dashed into the lead and held the others safe thereafter, winning witli plenty in reserve. Convolo had the best of the start, took the lead at once and maintained a steady pace for the first three-quarters, hut tired badly in the last quarter. Javanese, almost left at the post, had to go all around the others on the first turn, f-iiowed a good performance by racing into a contending position and, finishing gamely, was best of the others. Princess Oina had no mishaps and ran a bad race. The others were outclassed and away haillv. Scratched 09SI3 Tanglewood, X,. Kern, going wide most of the way, came fast at the end and took second place in the final strides. Harold D. had no mishaps and ran fairly well. Kokomo, much the best, was handicapped by his poor rider and ran a had race. Lightning Conductor iired after going a half. The others were badly outpaced throughout. Albert Star was favored at the start, but was restrained for the first half, came fast when called on and, wearing down Evelyn S. in the last sixteenth, won going away. Evelyn S. showed a high order of speed, but fired fast in the final sixteenth. Sabado had a rough trip and ran a good race. Marcus Aurelins had no mishaps and ran fairly well. Black Dress, away slowly and poorly ridden, closed a gap near the end, Eider was repeatedly bumped and forced back in the first three furlongs. Delia Thorpe showed the most early speed and stayed well In the final drive. Dele Strome, much the best, suffered from Interference on the first turn and, when moving up fast at the three furlongs post, Lee, on Ouardi. deliberately forced her to the inner rail and Powers had to pull up to avoid going down. Ouardi, poorly ridden, can do inucit better. Dr. Lee Huffman dislikes to go a mile. Anna Ruskln ran fairly well. The winner was entered . ror 00; no bid.
