DEVELOP MACDONOUGH YEARLINGS. New York, September 11. Henry Mason, the veteran who formerly trained for J. G. Follaus-bee, has just returned from a protracted trip to California, and while there made arrangements to handle the yearling output of W. OB. Macdon-oughs breeding farm. The crop this year includes thirty yearlings, fifteen of which are colts and fifteen fillies. Mr. Macdonough has concluded to develop his young stock and sell them after having been tried out in preference to sending them through the sales ring as yearlings. The youngsters are by Ossary, Orsini, St. Carlo and Cunard.
