STEVE LHOMMEDIEU PARDONED. Louisville, Ky., December 28. At the recent meeting of the executive committee of the New Louisville Jockey Club, attended by M. J. Winn, C. F. Grainger and Judge C. F. Price, the well-known bookmaker, Steve LHommedieu, was restored to good standing. LHommedieu was ruled off during the fall meeting held at Churchill Downs in 1905 by Judge Price for offering Inducements to jockey Fischer to pull his mount in a race. LHommedieu has been in trouble at Chicago and New York tracks before, but his promises of future goodv conduct led the committee to give him another chance.
