Harry Brown will not sell the properly this year at least. He is inclined to the opinion that If the Broomstick yearlings prove as good as they io k. Captain Brown may lie persuaded to race some of them himself. J. O. Keene says lie does not regret keeping Mansard in training, but gives the Santa Anita track the credit of rejuvenating the old gelding. Mansard early in the fall was so lame that Keene thougnt of retiring him, but now believes that the florist gelding will continue in good form during the rest of the winter racing.
