CRACK ENGLISH TWO-YEAR-OLD OF 1908. Bayardos Constantly Successful Career List of His Triumphs and His Pedigree, Bayardo is emphatically the two-year-old of the year in England. A bay colt, by Bay Ronald Gallcia, and the property of Mr. Fairie. he has bad a career of uninterrupted success and is deemed quite unbeatable in his present form, although some critics view his Derby chance next year with suspicion. Though lie does not walk well, he is a rare mover in his quick paces. I cannot, however, go so far as those who declare that he is sure to win the Derby. It remains to be seen whether he will retain as a three-year-old the supremacy he enjoys at present. 1 have my doubts." Bayardo anade his debut in the New Stakes at Ascot June IS, and won with Perdiccas second. Perola third and ten more unplaced.
