Jockey Reid, who showed good form at the Dallas meeting, arrived at Santa Anita Park last week and will ride for the Pasadena Stable. Charley Sanfords useful selling plater. High Gun. has developed a quarter crack, but Sauford believes the horse will not be affected by it very long. Trainer Buxton of the Fleur de Lis Stable is training. for Mrs. Allen the fast sprinter. John A. Mallon. This horse won several races at the Butte meeting and may be a useful performer at Oakland during the winter. A batch of nominations mailed by Mose Goldblatt from Latonia have failed to reacQi the New California Jockey Olub and Goldblatt will bo permitted to duplicate his nominations, having forwarded proof that he had mailed the missing lot prior to the announced time for the closing of the stakes.
