T T 1911 RECORD OF AUGUST BELMONTS RACING STABLE 4 As a two-year-old in 1910 Watervale was something of a disappointment and, on the basis of public form, distinctly inferior to Trap Uock and Flint Rock. Hut in the transition to three-year-old form he improved greatly" and by some grand displays of remarkable speed proved himself the best three-year-old ii the Belmont stable, as well as its chief money earner. Flint Rock raced to his early promise and put a great performance on record when he won the valuable Dominion Handicap at Fort Erie and defeated-the best handicap horses of the year. Unluckily he then fell lame, else he might have won frequently again. The veteran Priscillian was a horse of surpassing speed this year and never better in his life, a fact eloquently attested by his seven successive victories without the stain of a defeat. Had tilings in a racing way been as they were a few years back the Belmont stiible would unquestionably have scored heavily in earnings. As it was its record was good and is as follows: Horse. Age.
