: ROCK VIEW BEST OF AUGUST BELMONTS RACERS THIS YEAR : In all, the respected chairman of the Jockey Club raced twenty-two horses in this country this year and, such an extensive string considered, hardly had as great success as could have been wished for one who has done so much for American breeding and racing. By no means were all of his horses failures, for Rock View was right at the top among the good three-year-olds of the year and Fllttergold, Stromboli. Flitaway and Crossbun were all excellent two-year-o:ds that may shine in next years racing. Two that did but little for the stable are of notable relationship, for Top Hat Is the half brother of the grand horse. Tracery, and Tliornbill is Hawthorns brother.
