MARS CASSIDY set the early pace and, after being passed, came again and outstayed FATHER RILEY in the stretch. FATHER RILEY was away slowly and showed a good order of apapi in racing into the lead, but tired in the stretch drive. HOCNIR dosed a gap and was gaining at the end. SKILLS KNOB raced well and finished close up. MORRISTOWN was badly outpaced. SLEETH quit early in the race. The winner was entered for ,500; no bid. Scratched — 23209 The Norman, 105.
