ENGLISH RACING IS RESUMED. Tlie July Handicap, of the value of ,000 featured tlie last day of the first meeting following the resumption of flat racing in England on Thursday, July 1!, and was won by J. L. Dugdales Fox-ton, ridden by Smyth", by a neck, from Sir J. Kidstons Quarrynian, with Colling in tlie saddle. Lord Savilles All Serene, with Hulse up, was third, half a length behind. A large field turned out, twenty liorses facing tlie starter; The betting was Foxton, 11 to 4; Quarryman, 7 to 1, and AR Serene, 20 to 1. Kscott trained the winner. The stewards of the Jockey Club have decided to run the War Derby, on Tuesday, July 31, at Newmarket.
