MARSE HENRY STATIONED AT ALBANY Bureau Stallion to Be Used for Breeding Mounts for New York State Troopers. Albany, X. Y., December 7. The stallion Marse Henry is to be brought to Albany next week to be used for breeding mounts for Troop !. of the Al-buny unit of the Xew York State Troopers. Farmers throughout this section will benefit as the result of the presence of this noted sire, as colts by him will 1m; placed with farmers on terms arranged by Maj. George F. Chandler, superintendent of tile State Police. Farmers will also be given the privilege of breeding their mares witli the stallion. In tiiis manner Maj. Chandler expects to greatly improve the character of horses in the capital district. Marse Henry is a four-year-old brown colt by Ben Brush Xuus Cloth and raced witli a full measure of success for the Brighton Stable and other owners. The Brighton Stable recently donated Marse Henry to the Xew York Breeding Itureau. Under plans announced by Maj. Chandler, colts by Marse Henry will be raised by the farmers in the vicinity of Albany under terms arranged between himself and the keepers. In some cases the colts will be turned over to farmers in return for the keeping of other colts. In this manner Maj. Chandler expects to slowly .build up the blooded strain of farm horses of the state. Other colts will be raised for the use of State Troopers.
