AQUEDUCTS FINE MEETING Rancocas Stable Carries Off Lions Share of Prizes, Grey Lag Principal Contributor. The spring meeting of the Queens County Jockey Club, held at Aqueduct, from June 17 to July S, produced some of the best racing seen in the East this year. There were nineteen days of racing, during which time 114 races were run, and the gross sum of 02, 5S0 distributed in stakes and purses. A high figure was readied in the daily average distribution, namely, 3,820. Despite a run of bad luck, the Kancocas Stable was prominent. Hildreth-traincd horses won fourteen races and S49.019. while the H. P. Whitney aggregation of stars fared much better than at the earlier meeting, the Brookdale Stud standard bearer accounting for eight races and 2,117. Tiie Quiucy Stable, under James Fitzsimmous able managership, did well with six victories and 0,190. The above three owners were the only winners of over 0,000. but eight others have ,000 or more each to their credit, while the number to win ,000 or more passes the fifty mark. Xext on the list is his stable mate Knobbie, a right good one himself, with three successes and ,501 as his contribution to the Baueoeas coffers. Olympus, John P.
