The latter was under, restraint for the first mile and a half, then raced up to the1 leader and was wearing him down-at ttie end. PECCANT was a forward contender all the way. MINAtA ilhlshed resolutely. SK1BBEREEN was badly outrun. TRANSPERO hnd no mishaps. LE OYPRlN led from soon after the start, but lost his rider at the sixteenth Jump. EXTERMINATOR ran his u.sual resolute race, but tired under his big-weight and was eased up when well beaten. CAPT. ALCOCK was always outrun, but .finished gamely. DAMASK had no mishaps. BLAZES quit.
