CRIMDlS. away well, moved over towards the inside when nearing the elbow and came wide on that turn, but responded to hard riding and. challenging the leaders, won by a narrow margin. ARSACID gained steadily and finished fast through the final eighth. I.OIS RINEHART raced well and saved ground where possible, hut was tiring at the end. LENA RINEHART unseated her rider while on the way to the post and galloped off a haif mile, then ran a good race throughout. ZONITE set the early pace, ran well and had no mishaps. Won easily: second and third driving. I ONNTEBERT jumped well and. under good riding, withstood a challenge from HERRIARD and was going away at the end. KANGAROO ran a good race throughout and outgnmed BURTON II. at the end. The latter was under stout restraint until at the twelfth jump, then moved up with a belated rush and finished well. GRAVITY II. ran gamely. HERRIARD ran well for over a mile. LE MARSOUIN led for a time under sufferance. AOCQO THIRD RACE— 1 1-16 Miles. July 7, 1921—1:43—5—132. Union Course Handicap. Won easily: second and third driving. CHANCE PLAY followed the early pacemaker closest under restraint, then raced into the lead •when called on and won easing up. LIGHT CARBINE showed high speed in setting a fast pace to the stretch and finished gamely. CHERRY PIE closed a gap and was running fast at the end. BLONDIN ran a good race all the way. CLOUDLAND finished well. AMERICAN SON saved ground on the turns. GOLDEN SIIRE quit. DANGEROUS began slowly and could never improve his position. Scratched— 03317 Quatrain. 112: Jug o Rum, 108. EDITH CAVELL made a threatening rush in the stretch and got on almost even terms with the winner, but tired under her weight.
