HASTY BELLE, away rapidly, drew out under pressure and was hard ridden to the finish. CABOCHON saved ground entering the stretch and finished well to outlast PINBUD. The latter showed a good performance and closed gamely. ROSE PARADE went to the outside of the leaders entering the stretch and finished well LITTLE CORPORAL becan slowly and finished fast. WHITE MAN showed good form. SPEED MORE was outrun. KINGS MINSTREL raced evenly. COME SEVEN was away slowly. CHURCH MOUSE and HIDEHO raced well. RED JUG was slow to start. WATERWAY followed the pace under steady restraint and, moving up with determination on the far turn, wore down ENCHANTER in the stretch and held BUB McFARLAND safe under pressure. The latter improved his position steadily and closed with a rush. ENCHANTER drew into a safe lead, was rated along under restraint and quit under pressure in the final sixteenth. WISE ADVOCATE dropped back at the start and, outrun, closed a gap on the outside at the end. BACKGAMMON tired badly in the stretch. EVEN STEPHEN had no mishaps. PERNICKETY quit. SWEET SCENT closed ground gamely CLARIFY was in close quarters in the final eighth when he tried to go through between the leaders. CATERWAUL had no mishaps. IRENES BOB tired badly. The latter challenged gamely in the stretch and was wearing down the winner. WHITE LIES came through on the inside entering the stretch and finished gamely. BLACK QUEEN, away in a tangle, moved up gamely on the far turn, but tired. NOTEBOOK had no mishaps. EDELWEISS was outrun. WELCOME GIFT had no mishaps. ENACTMENT quit.
