WESTROPE LEADS RIDERS CICERO, 111., Aug. 7. Jack Westrope, the young Dakota apprentice sensation, who is making a specialty of being the leading jockey at every meeting where he rides, topped the Hawthorne riders for the first week of the meeting with nine winning mounts. The others were as follows: Wright, 6; Tipton, 5; Humphries, 4; J. Renick, 3; E. Pool, 3; Schutte, 3; Lowry, 3; Malzan, 2; Arcaro, 2; Kacala, 2; Ruder, 2; Leyland, 1; Critchfield, 1; Corbett, 1; J.
