The handsome trophy, which will be donated by Mrs. Payne Whitney to the winning owner of the Rowe Memorial at Bowie on Saturday has arrived and is now on display in the office of Joseph B. Boyle, general manager of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association. Charlie Ulbig, popular Baltimorean, is handling the riding engagements of jockey Bobby Merritt at Bowie. The stewards late Tuesday fined trainer Elmer Trueman 0 for failing to have Howard Bruces colors in the jockeys room in time for the first race. a
