HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES ji 3 Charles J. McLennan was notified that De-liberator, from the Everglade Stable, and H. H. Hectors Wise Duke have been named for the two-year-old stakes to be run in the Chicago area this summer. Wise Duke and Deliberator finished first and second in the Aberdeen Stakes Wednesday. The Harford Agricultural Association received word from New York that James Fitzsimmons, trainer of the Wheatley and Phipps Stable, would ship Vicar to Havre de Grace for the Philadelphia Handicap Saturday. William Hurley, who has the eastern division of the E. R. Bradley stable at Havre de Grace, will ship his stable to Pimlico Sunday. He expects to have Black Helen, winner of the Florida Derby, make her eastern debut at the Maryland Jockey Club course. Robert A. Smith, who handles the Brookmeade Stable, sent word that he would ship Good Goods to Havre de Grace to run in the Philadelphia Handicap, closing feature at this course Saturday. Harry Steven II. departed for New York to join the H. M. Stevens catering staff now serving at Jamaica, L. I. Joe Stevens will be in charge of the Havre de Grace staff until the end of the meeting here, then depart for New York. Mrs. Walter E. OHara, owner of the Araho Stable, arrived from Boston today. She will remain for the running of the ,500 Philadelphia Handicap Saturday in which she will be represented by Howard, winner of the Jockey Club Stakes at Hialeah Park last winter. According to advices reaching here, May-anel, dam of Chase Me, which met with an unfortunate accident in the Suburban Stakes at Belmont Park last season, arrived at William Elders Merryland Farm in the Long Green Valley, and is in foal to Purchase. It was this combination that produced Chase Me, and Mrs. J. Bosley, Jr. hopes to secure a colt or filly qual to the ill-fated racer. Robert W. Daniels, owner of the Brandon Stable, has inquired for the services of jockey J. Lynch to ride Tutticurio in the Kentucky Derby on May 4. The colt is receiving his preparation here under the car of Frank Bray.
