Kentucky Notes i 1 , CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., June 14. Cecil Howard is shipping the Harry C. Hatch horses he has here to Detroit. From there Howard will go to Toronto to supervise the transfer of the Kings Plate winner, Uttermost, to Winnipeg, where the Hatch homebred will take part in the Canadian Derby on July 2. Trainer H. M. Kresin will ship the nine horses he has quartered at Churchill Downs to River Downs on Sunday. The horses perform in the silks of Mrs. H. M. Kresin. Six horses belonging to Dan Lewis, well-known Detroit mortiGian, will be transferred : from Churchill Downs to the Motor City I course over the week-end by trainer R. H. | Raines. Owner Lewis has taken first call on the riding services of jockey F. Weida-man for the 85-day Detroit meeting opening Saturday. Bill Garner is going to Washington Park, where he will ride free lance. Milton Shagrin, who has a sizable stable quartered at Churchill Downs, has sold to Lew Lisser of Cincinnati the four-year-old colt Collar Ad. Terms of the sale were private. Lisser will ship his new acquisition to River Downs, where he will be trained by P. A. Steffen. ♦ James T. Burgoo King Looney, former owner and breeder, will tender a dinner to many of his old friends at Owentown, Ky., on June 25. Looney, who originated the palatable dish, holds the food concessions at trotting meets and horse shows throughout the Blue Grass country.
