FLIGHT OYER, a forward factor froni the start, was placed in close quarters by PILATES OWN during the last three sixteenths, but disposed of the latter nearmg the finish and *on going away. PILATES OWN took command early, made the pace to the stretch and. permitted to bother FLIGHT OVER during the drive, was not good enough for the latter, but «as easily best of the others. BOlND TO RISE could not get to the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. MISS TIME made a bold bid near the final turn, then tired. RED FIGURE was outrun. RAJ KUMAR never was dangerous. MAROC began sluggishly, worked his way loruaid on the outside and, responding readily when ridden out through the stretch, disposed of VALDINA JOE and then held JES LOY ME safe. The latter, never far back and saving ground throughout, held in well in a good etfort, but was not good enough for the winner. YALDINA JOE raced. FRIARS SCOUT into defeat after three furlongs but failed to retain his advantage when hard ridden through the drive. DUZIT lacked early speed. SENIOR PROM tired. NIGHT EDITOR, away fast, was taken under light restraint to the upper turn, responded readily when set down for the drive and wore down SORGHO in the last furlong. The latter assumed command early, established a clear lead and, tiring slightly during the stretch, was unable to hold the winner. WHEAT came to the inside entering the stretch and finished fast. GLORIOUS SEC tired after showing early speed. FLY THE COOP failed to stay when set down for the drive. PAR AVION never was a serious factor. The others never were Iloniiiietit. The latter came to the outside for the drive and finished determinedly in a sharp effort. MAKE FAST, slow to begin and badly outrun to the last three furlongs, closed with a rush. WESTWOOD BELLE assumed command early, made the pace to the final quarter, but was no match for the winner, although was easily best of the others. CREAM made a good bid when loused for the dne bit t. hered during the last eighth. FLOAT ME had no excuses. ZACATINE tired after racing prominently to the stretch. MM had early speed.
