Claim Six Horses Out of Nine Entered in Race at Detroit DETROIT, Mich.. June 22.— That the haltermens activities continue unabated at the Fair Grounds is quite evident by their ready response to take horses "right and left." One of the high-spots in that respect occurred yesterday in the fifth event when six horses out of the nine entered went to new owners. The horses claimed were Travel, Tie Plate, Brushwood Boy, Everplayful and Odd Pair, each for ,000 and acquired respectively by the Silver Strand Stable, W. J. Susini. Mrs. E. H. Beezley, W. T. Beezley and W. H. Bishop, while A. and R. Craig paid out ,700 for Power Pack. So far, 45 claims have been registered during the four days racing.
