Hyde Park Stakes Lures 28 Nominees j Maine Chance Has Seven in Arlington Week-End Race; Fifteen in Princess Doreen HOMEWOOD, 111.. June 26.— Twenty-eight nominations for the Hyde Park Stakes and 15 for the Princess Doreen Stakes, dual features of Saturdays program at Washington Park, were announced today by racing secretary Fred Burton. The Hyde Park, which will give patrons an advance view of some of the principal candidates for the Arlington and Washington J Park futurities, is a spin of five and a half furlongs for two-year-olds, and the Princess Doreen is a sprint of six furlongs for three-year-old fillies. Each of these events is endowed with 5,000 in added money. Among the Hyde Park nominations are the two highest-priced youngsters of last I summers yearling sales, the Maine Chance Farms Colony Boy, who cost 6,000, and 1 Calumet Farms Jezros, who cost 0,000. Colony Boy is one of seven juveniles entered in the Hyde Park by the Maine Chance Farm. The others are They Say, , who won the Belmont Juvenile. Star Pilot, Harveys Pal, Lord Boswell, Knock Down l and Sugar Lea. Calumet Names Three Calumet Farm nominated three. The two besides Jezros are High Shine, who won i so impressively on Monday, and In Earnest. Among other conspicuous Hyde Park J eligibles are Mrs. Louise Donovans Fighting Frank, who captured the Bashford 1 Manor Stakes at Churchill Downs, and i Breezy Louise, who accounted for the Debutante at the same track, and John j Marschs Franks Choice, who won the first v race of the meeting at Washington Park. Among those named for the Princess Doreen is Thomas Piatts Come and Go, who raced with conspicuous success at Churchill Downs this spring. At the Louisville track she won the Ashland Stakes, Keenelands principal feature for horses of i her age and sex. and the Kentucky Oaks, Churchill Downs historic fixture for three-year-old fillies. Calumet Farm entered Twosy, winner r last year of a division of the Sagamore [ Stakes and runner-up in the Arlington Lassie Stakes, the Princess Pat, and the ! Belmont Matron Stakes, No Blues and On-Your-Toes. The only others to nominate more than one representative were the Maine Chance Farm, which named War Date and Sharp 3 Watch, and the Running Water Farm, . which entered Its Her and Miss Tartan.
