PORTRAIT OF A GREAT HORSE Richard Stone Reeves painting of Armed to be presented to the geldings breeder and owner Warren Wright by Daily Racing Form at a luncheon in the Turf and Field Club at Belmont Park today The pub ¬ lishers of this newspaper commissioned Reeves to paint the portrait in recognition of Armeds being acclaimed 1947s Horse of the Year by its turf experts through ¬ out the country It is the first of a series of annual trophies to be presented to the owner of the thoroughbred voted the champion of all divisions by participants in Triangle Publications yearly poll J Samuel Perlman general manager of Daily Racing Form is to present Armeds portrait to Mr Wright
