NOTES OF THE TURF. Capt. T. M. Jackson has been elected secretary of the Brighton Beach Racing Association. Capt. Jackson has for some time been officially connected with the association, and is well and favorably known to all horsemen. He is a man 1 of executive ability and will doubtless prove of gieat aid to President W A. Engaman in maintaining the high place that Brighton has attainea in the turf world. Turf, Field and Farm C. Ta mmany, a starter at San Francisco a few days ago, is a cream-colored gelding from Idaho. He attracted much attention on account of his color. "
