1 i 1 I ; CONST ISLAND STAKES. Again Daily Racing Form calls the attention of owners and trainers to the great array of stakeB offered by the Coney Island Jockey Club that are to close next Wednesday. They are sixteen in number, of which ten are for the summer meeting of 1900, five for the autumn meeting of 1900, and ona the Futurity for the autumn meeting of 1902. The stakes for the June meeting are the famous Suburban Handicap, 0,000, one mile and a quarter; the June Handicaps, viz: The Coney Island, ,009, three-quarters of a mile; Sheapshsad Bay, ,000, one mile, and LoDg Island, ,503, one and an eighth miles; the Advance Stakes, ,000 added one and three-quarter miles, all for three-year-olds and upward. The Swift, ,500 added, ssven-eightbs I of a mile, and the Spindrift, ,500 added, one and one-eighth miles, are for three-year-olds. For twe-year-oldB are provided the Great Trial, 0,000, about six furlongs, and the Double Event of 0,000, to ba run in two races of ,000 each, with ,000 additional if the same horse wins both parts. The conditions of these stakes, as well as tho3o for the autumn meeting and of the Futurity of 1902, are advertised in this issue and should receive careful study and hearty patronage.
