MEMPHIS FIXED EVENTS. Western turfmen do not require much urging to induce them to patronize the tempting array of Btakss annually offered by the New Memphis Jockey Club. The racing there each spring is so good and managed with snch care, fairness and liberality that turfmen look forward to the opening each spring with impatient eagerness and are only too glad to participate in its enjoyment. Still there may ba aome lagging and forgetful owners, and if so wo call their attention to the fact that the fine list of valuable stakes displayed in the advertising columns of this iaiue of Daily Racing Form: closes at midnight of Tuesday next. Especial notice should be taken of the fact that the rich and important Tennessee Derby and Tennessee Oaks f 1901 are among the events to close on that day.
