Rinaldo II. was slow to begin, but was much the best at the weights and was drawing away at the finish. Bon Jour finished strongly and was the best of the others. Dolando ran well. Exit was tired out in chasing Rinaldo II. Outside of the winner the race was probably not a true run one on account of the maiden jockeys. Bangor was practically left at the post. Rinaldo II., place, evens ; show, 1 to 2. Bon Jour, place, 8 to 5 ; show, 4 to 5. Dolando, show, 2tol. SECOND RACE— Last S-8 Mile. Eclipse Course. 50 added. 2-year-old». IrTQfrt I _7____ Allowances. Handwork is a good colt and could have won further off, but Maher drew the finish fine. Golden Ago displayed his usual early speed, but was stopping at the end. Ballyhoo Bey was probably a bit short and the race will do him good. King Pepper swerved badly soon after the start and Jenkins did not persevere with him.
