NOTES OP THE TURF. Mr. Young, McGrathiaua Stud, Kentucky, has sold to Haley Bros, the following yearlings : Br. c, by First Mate Vera, by King Alfonso ; b. c, by 8t. Florian Christine, by Kyrle Daly ; b. or br. c, by Pirate of Penzance The Dreamer, by Hindoo, and ch. f, by Cayuga Gladness, by Onondaga. Captain Cyrus S. Radford of the Marine Corps sailed on September 16 for the Philippine Islands, where he will be on duty for two years. The captain is well known to all turfmen as one of the proprietors of the Adelbert Stud, which has become famous through the succbbs of the progeny of Albert. Work was begun on Senator Timothy D. Sullivans race track, near Jamaica, Tuesday. The work will be pushed bo as to have the track ready for the spring season. But three more days remain to be run at .Delmar. Then the scene shifts to the Fair Grounds, where the game will be continued until November 1.
