School for Scandal went easily into the lead after the firBt quarter had been run, but was staggering at the end and just lasted long enough to win. Emma B. finished fast and shawad more gameness than she is supposed to possess. Toah ran a cracking good race, finishing strongly-next to the inside rail. Konnwreath, under a weak ride, came stoutly at the end, being only beaten for third place in the last stride. Rival Dare finished strongly. Andes as usual ran inconsistently. He is a hard horse to gueBS. Henry of Trastamare was nowhere near fit for a good race. Kirby moved up fast when turning into the stretch, but was tiring rapidly in the closing strides. Magi had enough after a quarter had been run. Elsie L. ran well for a half mile. She appeared to be stiff when going to the post and she ran nowhere near her true form. Jack Battlin was right there for four furlongs.
