The latter contested every foot of the way in the homestretch and was beaten by a narrow margin. Bailie J. quit at the head of the Btretch and came again. Oscar was away well, bnt he seemed -to be cut otf on the stretch tnrn. Bauve showed plenty of early speed, bnt quit in the stretch. Annn was probably short. Bimtine refused to break.
