Winner B. f, by Charaxue Ada Belle. Went to post at 2:50. At post 4 minuteB. Start good. Won driving and all out; second easily. Chanterelle was best handled and was probably the best. She was off well in motion and Troxler took no chances. OBrien delayed his move on Sting until well into the stretch. Had he made his run a little earlier he in all probability would have won. Trio was weakly ridden and, this considered, ran a good race. Precisely will be troublesome when going a longer route. Flor-xie S. ran well under difficulties. Winnor B. f, by Rainbow Mendacity. Went to post at 3:20. At post 2 minutes. Start good. Won easily; second driving. Menace ran in improved form and was the best. She won with plenty in reserve. Terra Incognita, under strong handling, ran well but weakened at the end and was probably short. Loone did not show his customary early speed but came strongly at the end. Frank Pearce was weakly handled and with a better ride would have been second. There was a jam on the first turn, Troxler getting his leg hurt in the mix-up and had to pull up Sylvian to keep from falling. Kink and Battus showed speed. Overweights Menace, 2 pounds. Brn-lare hugged the rail on the stretch turn and under a hard drive got up in the closing strides. Lunar appeared to be winning easily in the last furlong, but Troxler rode a weak finish. The weight also had a good deal to do with making her lag in the laBt sixteenth. Felix Bard and Nettie Regent raced each other to exhaustion. The former will do to watch.
