NOTES OF THE TURF. Banastar, which was temporarily retired early in the season, has rejoined Clarence H. Mackays stable in training at Sheepshead Bay. Trainer Hill is trying him out at easy exercise, and if there is even a remote chance of his standing the ordeal he will be put in training again. August Belmonts 5,000 filly by St. Simon Lady Beel, a half-sister to Hamburg, is reported as re served by her owner for the Great Filly Stakes, worth 5,000 and the Futurity. Both races will be decided at the Coney Island Jockey Clubs fall meeting. F. Cook, St. Louis. The quotations against Sweet Dream were correct.
