Corrigan found the track to his liking and ran to his best form. He was never really fully extended. Marcos was ridden hard all through the last quarter, but without avail, as the winner simply played with him. Death was all tangled up at the start and never got into his stride until turning into the backstretch. He ran well for six furlongs, but labored hard in the final quarter and was thoroughly beaten a furlong out. He probably runs best on a fast track. Frank M. might just as well have remained in his stall. Scratched 33936 Jiminez, 107; 335002 Wainamoinen, 98; 33937Harry New, 98; 3i920Orontas, 110; 3370lToah, 107. OverweightB Corrigan, 1 pound.
