Flocarline ran to her best form and came away with a rush when called upon in the last eighth. Style rah a good race. She was all tangled up at the start, but made up ground fast when she got clear sailing and outstayed Joe Buckley in a bard drive through the last seventy-five yards. The latter showed his usual speed, but appears to lack heart and tired perceptibly at the end. Goodman appears to have lost his keen turn of speed. Marta Santa displayed keen speed and outran his field easily throughout. A. D. Gibson stood a long strotch drive with gameness. Duelist finished strongly after making up ground in the last quarter. Icicle displayed speed throughout, but was tiring slightly at the end. Federal came with a rush at the end and was running past horses. He was badly outrun in the early part of the race, but finished resolutely. Burnie Bunton showed scant speed and ran far below her best form. Bummer ran well for five and a half furlongs. Hermencia moved up fast turning into the last quarter and easily passed Nitrate in the last hundred yards. The latter showed much speed and finished strongly, but Hildreth evidently preferred winning with Her-mencia. Strangest showed sudden improvement and will bear watching from now on when placed right. Aladdin was well beaten a furlong out. He appears to run to his beat form only in soft or heavy going. Omdnrman showed early speed. Autumn Leaves finished stoutly and was the best of the others. She showed wonderful improvement over her last effort, which was miserable. Hoodwink finished strongly on her own courage. She was pocketed on the far turn. Golden Glitter was well beaten when a sixteenth from home. Marque, badly handled all through the first six furlongs, camo with a rnah at the end.
