Adams had to hustle her along all the last furlong. Dianora II. showed the most early speed, but weakened when the pinch came. Gayhilda hung on gamely at the end and was under a hard drive all through the last quarter. Sio Bamba finished strongly after being shut off on the far turn. Jigger did not run his race. Won driving and all out; secoad easily. Helen Oakford came with a rush in the run home and outgamed Dusky Secret, when it came to a drive. Hopkins saved ground with her all the way. Dusky Secret ran her race and was doing her best. She was kustled along all the way. Gallawater was taken wide when coming into the stretch and finished strongly. Blue Ridge and Hutch Millar fought it out all through the last furlong. Blue Ridge finished very gamely and just managed to last lon enough to stall off Mandamus. The latter was coming strongly and would have been second in another stride. Hutch Miller tired when the pinch came. Ba filed quit as if short. Senator Beveridge was sulky all the way. Our Sallie wore the leaders down when rounding the far turn and was under a drive all of the last furlong and just managed to last long enough to stall off Flora Bright. The latter finished strongly and was wearing the winner down and would have won in another stride. Bismarck was as good as left and Irven did not seem to be able to gat him to going in the first part of the race. He came with a tremendous burst of speed in the last quarter and would have won in a few more strides. Cursus ran in improved form. Irish Jewel was cut off when rounding the far turn, came around the leaders at the stretch turn and, finishing strongly, would have won in another stride. Carrie I. showed the most early speed, but found the route too far and weakened at the finish. Premus was eased up when beaten.
