ULLMAN BUYING RACERS. More yearlings were disposed of by the Fasig-Tip-ton Company in their paddocks opposite the Sheepshead Bay track Tuesday before the racing began, when the entire lot owned by John J. Mc-Cafferty and the lot from O. H. Chenaults Spendthrift Stud were offered. The turfmen present did not appear to care for the Spendthrift stock, the filly by Hussell Hira Villa going for the tnp price to E. H. Bradley for 300. When the McCafferty lot was placed under tho hammer the bidding became very lively, consequently nearly all sold for big amounts. The first one offered was the brother to Sister Juliet, a colt by Esher Van-a-Clar, and he went for the top price, ,500. The bidding was between Joe Ullman, the well-known bookmaker; Johnny Carr and Charley Ellison, arid Ullman outbid the others. Ullman also made another purchase, giving ,600 for the Esher Matron filly. Charley Ellison got the colt by Esher Santa Hosa II. for ,150 after a tussle with Ullman, while Dr. J.
