Artist worked his way to the front when rounding the far turn, fought it out with Oro Viva in the run home and out-gamed him when it came to a drive. The latter showed the most early sped, but tired when the pinch came. June Collins closed a big gap and finished very strongly. Immortelle and Little Boy were tiring. Daly kept him in the best going and he was never in trouble. Blue Ridge had to go around on the outside to get up and was hustled along nil the way. Navarino came again at the end and passed Lady Iona in the last two strides. The latter fell just as the winning mark was reached, She stepped iu a hole and walked back to her stable very lame. Uledi was at home in tho going, showed the most speed and was never in trouble but was hustled along all of the last furlong to stall off Cunard and Autolight. Tho last two fought it out all through the last Quarter, Cunard barely winnine. The latter was on the outside all the way, came very strongly at the end and was winning when she stumbled in the last fifty yards and went to her knees. She came again at the end. Lone Fisherman was crowded back at the first turn and made up a lot of ground when rounding the far turn, but tired in the last furlong. Annie Lauretta tired after going six furlongs.
