Incubator was pocketed next to the rail for the first half, but came through in the stretch like a flash and was easily best. Durrazzo is steadily improving, was carried. very wide on the turn and outrun in the first half, but hold on gamely at the end. Boutonniere broke slowly and was outrun early, bnt closed up fast at the end. Conspicuous, away badly, worked a rough passage, was going strong at the end and ran a great race. Bed Knight, away badly, ran a dull race to tha stretch, where he was going fast. Daly outstayed Bonn ibert and Carbuncle in a hard drive through the final quarter. Bon-nibert was under pressure throughout. Carbuncle did his best. Belle of Troy failed to stay in the going. Waiting tactics proved disastrous with Rossignol. .Numeral tired after forcing the pace for a half. Templeton and Oclawaha were closing up strongly at the end. Ascension lacked early speed, due to her recent races over longer distances. Morokanta is not at present in good form. Sadducee, greatly handicapped by the going, did not run his race.
