NOTES OF THE TURF. Frank Farrell has commissioned the Fasig-Tipton Company to sell all of his horses in training at Morris Park, Saturday, October 11. The horses were to have been eo.d a couple of weeks ago, but tho sale for some reason was postponed. Tho sale will include Blues, Bonnibert, De Reszke, Minotaur and a number of others. Mr. Farrell will only keep the yearlings purchased during the summer and will begin next season with an entire new-stable. Superintendent Gorman, of the Westchester Racing Association, said Wednesday that there would be no racing at Morris Park on Monday, as stated. The Press Club benefit, mentioned for that day, has been postponed, and the meeting will open on Tuesday. This will leave Monday an open day for metropolitan racegoers. S. M. S., Chatham, Ont. If you made a place bet on a horse against which no place odds were on offer, the bookmaker should return your money regardless of where the horse finished.
